The product photography assignment was really fun to work on. As I am also enrolled in Digital Photography this term, I was able to take a lot from this assignment. Photograph is something that I am very interested in doing. As I am still an amateur photographer, this assignment allowed me to learn a bit more about the art of photography. I chose to photograph my necklace, a beautiful silver chain with a blue fire opal pendant. This proved a perfect choice for my shoot because it is something that is very important to me.
I had a lot of fun experimenting with how I was going to do this shoot. I decided the best way for me to take the shot was to use a trip pod to shoot perpendicular to the ground. I used my phone’s flashlight to illuminate the necklace.
